I think Ive posted a shrimp and grits recipe before. Anyways, i dont think i ever tried adding saffron. To these grits i added swanson chicken broth, a tiny bit of minced garlic, olive oil, and a tiny pinch of ground saffron and salt. I also shaved the tips of some broccoli and stirred it in just as soon as the grits were done and covered them for a few mins before serving.
The shrimp are seasoned with old bay, blackened seasoning, fresh minced garlic, and a little extra parsley, crushed bay leaves, and thyme.
